A B O U T U S
BMS, a corporate group of companies, was founded in 1968 at KARABÜK where the first iron and steel factory in Turkey was established. Here, it started to work under the name Sabah Nakliyat ve Pazarlama in 1969, then Zontur Demir Çelik A.Ş. in İskenderun in 1984, BMS Demir Çelik in Ankara in 1995, BMS A.Ş. in Istanbul in 1999, and spread its limits abroad under the name BMS Birleşik Metal San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. in Izmir in 2004.
Started its journey with a single company, then became a group of companies, our group is now remembered with steel throughout Turkey thanks to its production, sales, import and subcontracting manufactures, wide market network, quality approach and shipping speed.
Turkey's first Wire Mesh Factory with highest capacity was established in 1972 in Manisa Organized Industrial Zone and purchased by our group in 2004. This factory, now named BMS Çelik Hasır San.Tic.A.Ş., raised its annual capacity of wire mesh up to 70.000 tones/year, cold extrusion and bar up to 120.000 tones/year, with its latest design machine supplements and enlarged closed area. In addition to its assertive position in Turkey, it also realizes 30% of wire meshes production and exportation of Turkey.
Founded in January 2005 and completed its organization and structuring in July 2005, BMS Hazır Demir San.Tic.A.Ş. is in an assertive position in Turkey . At this production facility, all necessary machines and equipment were supplied from abroad and installed properly. This factory produces iron according to the project and has machines for stirrup, triangle, block cutting, tension jack, bent bar, and bored pile.
In 2002, Boğaç Profil Demir Çelik San.Tic.A.Ş. was included into our group consisting of the above mentioned companies. At our Gebze ready-made iron facility, heavy industry profiles (NPI, NPU, HEB, HEA, HEM, IPE) are imported and sold. Panel and rolled sheets, angle irons, bars and pipes are also the products of this factory.

With our sales offices in Karabük, Ankara, İskenderun, İzmir and Istanbul, Wire Mesh Factory in Manisa, profiles stock and Ready-made Iron Factory in Gebze, with our own vehicles and 300 specialized personnel, and with our sales, import and production of 600.000 tones/year in 2006, our group has a well deserved position as a worldwide brand in all building sectors, Turkish economy and global markets.
