Ready iron in accordance with the Project

BMS Ready Iron, fulfilling the demand for construction iron without wastage at its modern production plant in Kocaeli since 2005, holds 25 percent of Istanbul market in its hand. BMS Ready Iron, manufacturing its products as project-based, offers different solutions for circular bored pile column and multi-sided column equipment as well. Placed among the largest ready iron producers of Turkey, BMS Ready Iron meets the iron demand of reinforced concrete structures with its project- based work principle. The company, carrying on its development together with the mission of leading the sector, is getting ready to increase its monthly capacity up to 8 thousand tons in 2008. Bahattin Bilgin, Managing Director of BMS Ready Iron, said that BMS Ready Iron, which is the youngest member of the BMS Group of Companies, currently serves Istanbul and hinterland however, it will expand its service network within the following years.  

BMS Ready Iron started production in Kocaeli Region in July 2005. The Company provides construction iron without wastage for projects regardless of their scale. Bilgin, emphasizing that ready iron carries on its improvement as a sector in many developed and developing countries, claims that ready iron is on its way to become a sector in Turkey as well, because quality standards are becoming compulsory in the sector in Turkey, which possesses a technology developed at utmost level regarding iron production. Bilgin wishes that consumers question the iron processing quality and perform mechanical tests when necessary.  

Claiming that ready iron sector must achieve an institutional configuration in Turkey, Bilgin states, with numerical data, that the sector has no other chance in the long run. “I believe that the sector will develop. I am optimistic. 99 percent of EU countries utilize ready iron; this ratio is still around 1 percent in Turkey. This development is inevitable in our country where natural disasters such as earthquake are frequently experienced” He says. BMS Ready Iron, holding 25 percent of Istanbul ready iron market, invested 1.2 million Euro for the machinery park which it imported from Italy.

Technological solution in bored pile equipment

BMS Ready Iron also offers technological solutions in circular bored pile column and multi-sided column equipment. Forage machine, equipped with robot technology, works without affecting the strength of the steel by its special time-set gas welding technology. The machine eliminates the time problem in the preparation of bored pile equipment with its 36 m capacity. This method, making redundant the employment for bored pile at the construction site, allows preparation of rigid and substantive equipment. Bilgin, stating that bored piles are generally used in the construction of bridges and buildings with fundament problems, told us that they have prepared the equipment for the bridges and viaducts between Polatli and Eskisehir of the fast train project which is constructed between Ankara and Istanbul.
